ATENÇÃO FARMACÊUTICA EM DROGARIAS E FARMÁCIAS: REVISÃO DA LITERATURA
Abstract
The monograph presented here has as its theme a study on pharmaceutical care in drugstores and pharmacies, a literature review, of great importance due to the fact that the use of medications is a complex process with multiple determinants and involves different factors. The main objective for its elaboration was to show the importance that pharmaceutical care has in promoting the rational use of medications, given that this should be the central action of pharmaceutical practice. The justification is based on the relevance that this care has when it aims to increase therapeutic adherence, reduce toxicity, and improve outcomes related to the prevention and resolution of medication-related problems. Understanding what activities the pharmacist develops in serving patients in drugstores/pharmacies was the question that guided the research. To achieve the objectives and answer the question raised, we chose as the method to be used the integrative review of the literature that deals with the method that provides the synthesis of knowledge and the incorporation of the applicability of significant studies in practice.
Resumo
A monografia aqui apresentada tem por temática um estudo sobre a Atenção farmacêutica em drogarias e farmácias, uma revisão da literatura, de grande importância devido à utilização de medicamentos ser um processo complexo com múltiplos determinantes e envolve diferentes fatores. Como principal objetivo para sua elaboração buscou-se mostrar a importância que a atenção farmacêutica exerce na promoção do uso racional de medicamentos, visto que essa deve ser a ação central da prática farmacêutica. Tendo assim como justificativa baseada na relevância que essa atenção tem quando se propõe a aumentar a adesão terapêutica, diminuir a toxicidade e aperfeiçoar resultados, referentes a prevenção e solução de problemas referentes a medicamentos. Saber quais as atividades que o farmacêutico desenvolve no atendimento a pacientes de drogarias/farmácias, foi o questionamento que norteou a pesquisa. Para o alcance dos objetivos e responder ao questionamento levantado, abraçou-se como método a ser a utilizado a revisão integrativa da literatura que trata do método que proporciona a síntese de conhecimento e a incorporação da aplicabilidade de estudos significativos na prática.
