ATENÇÃO FARMACÊUTICA EM PACIENTES COM HIPERTENSÃO ARTERIAL ASSOCIADA A DIABETES MELLITUS: REVISÃO DE LITERATURA
Abstract
Hypertension is a disease in which blood pressure in the arteries exceeds 140/90 mmHg. And diabetes is a disease resulting from a lack of insulin or the inability of insulin to properly exert its effects. Hypertensive and diabetic patients require medication chronically to maintain physiological levels of blood glucose and blood pressure, therefore, they require pharmaceutical care to assist and improve the use of medications. The work is a literature review. In which data from the literature on pharmaceutical assistance for hypertensive and diabetic patients were highlighted, as well as the same together, on the Google Scholar and SciELO platforms. And within the research, inclusion and exclusion criteria were used for articles with a period of up to five years, being organized and analyzed according to data collected in the literature, bringing a survey, integrating and describing this pharmaceutical professional in the services provided to these patients. It is important to highlight that the work describes in a contextualized way the pharmacist's role in a general and essential way for patients with hypertension associated with diabetes mellitus.
Resumo
A hipertensão, é uma doença em que a pressão sanguínea nas artérias, ultrapassam os 140/90 mmHg. E a diabetes é uma doença, decorrente da falta de insulina ou da incapacidade de a insulina exercer adequadamente seus efeitos, os pacientes hipertensos e diabéticos, necessitam de medicamentos cronicamente para manter os níveis fisiológicos de glicemia e pressão arterial, portanto, requerem cuidados farmacêuticos para ajudar e melhorar o uso de medicamentos. O trabalho se trata de uma revisão de literatura. No qual foi destacado dados de literatura sobre os cuidados farmacêuticos em pacientes hipertensos e diabéticos, assim como os mesmos em conjunto, nas plataformas, Google Acadêmico e SciELO. E dentro da pesquisa, foi utilizado critérios de inclusão e exclusão de artigos no período de até cinco anos, sendo organizados e analisados conforme os dados de coleta na literatura, trazendo um levantamento, integrando e descrevendo esse profissional farmacêutico nos serviços prestados para esses pacientes. Sendo importante destacar que o trabalho descreve o papel do farmacêutico de forma geral e essencial para os pacientes com hipertensão arterial associada a diabete mellitus de forma contextualizada.
